What urged you to formulate this advocacy?

Nurses, together with other healthcare professionals, are considered as one of the modern-day heroes. They are the ones who respond to the pandemic breakout, and almost every day, they encounter unsettling situations, such as seeing someone dying. It is only appropriate to return their sacrifice by giving them more benefits. In the report of Bowie (2022), where she surveyed more than 2,500 nurse respondents on a scale of 1 (poor) to 10 (excellent) of having poor to excellent mental health in the industry of nurses, she accumulated an average of 5.8% outcome. This result indicated that the mental health of the nurses, which they obtained from their course of profession, was unsatisfactory and poor (Bowie, 2022). Thus, this advocacy bestows nurses the perks of having a free consultation with a psychiatrist to keep their mental health in check, especially every time they feel drained because of their personal problems added to the toxicity of their specialized field

How can one individual (not part of the group) become part of this advocacy?

Given that the advocacy aims to look for more people to join us, you can simply contribute and be part of it through sharing our pubmats, posts, and videos that contain several information needed to spread awareness and call out for a better benefits to be given to our nurses.
